Can’t reach your feet?

A NEW community service recently started in Bindoon will provide for people who have difficulty attending to their personal foot care.
Meg Bradford-Seeley, who has been trained by Community West to provide basic nail and foot care, said she had became aware  that there were many people in the community who had difficulty in managing their own foot care.
“There was an obvious need for a service to deliver that care,” she said.
“We now have 2 volunteer providers, and 2 others have expressed an interest to help.”
Ms Bradford-Seeley said the service is available to anyone as long as they are not diabetic or have circulatory problems.
“It is a free service but a donation would be appreciated and proceeds will be divided between the Seventh Day Adventist church and the Bindoon Anglican church.”
She said clients are asked to supply their own towel, clippers and any other requirements needed for their foot care.
Ms Bradford-Seeley said Doctors in both Bindoon and Gingin have been advised the service is now available and can refer patients.
The new service will operate from behind the Seventh Day Adventist Church op shop every 3rd Thursday morning and appointments must be made by calling 0409567291.
